Clinic admin overview
Admin only. This section is for practice managers and clinic admins. Some areas are available only on multi-seat plans.
Clinic admins keep the clinic running smoothly in Miraa — people, access, billing, settings, templates, and integrations. Admins do not take over clinical responsibility: clinicians still review and approve all clinical content.
What admins manage
Where the clinical line stays
Admin controls change who can do administrative things — not who is responsible for clinical sign-off. Clinical notes, letters, and referrals must always be reviewed and approved by a clinician. See Clinician approval.
Admin responsibilities checklist
- Access is least-privilege. Each person has the minimum access they need.
- Roles are correct. Clinicians, admins, and staff have appropriate roles.
- Billing is current. The plan matches the clinic’s needs and features.
- Templates reflect house style. Drafts come out in the clinic’s format.
- Integrations reflect real status. Nothing shows as connected unless it is.
- Offboarding is handled. Access is removed promptly when someone leaves.
Plan gating
Several admin features — clinic-wide settings and some automation and integration capabilities — depend on your plan. If something in these docs isn’t visible, it may be plan-gated. See Billing.
Safety & compliance for admins
- Keep MFA requirements on where your clinic needs them. See Data security.
- Understand the audit trail — admin actions are logged too. See Audit trail.
- Know your clinic’s obligations around privacy and retention. See Australian privacy and Data retention.
