Privacy, safety & compliance overview

Miraa is a healthcare product. Using it safely means understanding a small set of responsibilities that stay with your clinic and its clinicians.

⚕️

The single most important rule: Miraa produces drafts. A clinician must review and approve clinical content before it enters a patient record or is sent. Miraa supports clinicians; it does not diagnose, replace clinical judgment, or make autonomous clinical decisions.

The responsibilities at a glance

How safety is built into the workflow

  • Approval gate. Clinical content is a draft until a clinician approves it.
  • Consent. Recording happens with the patient’s knowledge and agreement, per your clinic’s policy and jurisdiction.
  • Audit trail. Sensitive actions are logged so there’s an accurate history.
  • Access control. People see only what their role and clinic allow.
  • Security. Patient data is protected in transit and at rest.

What Miraa does not claim

These docs make no claim that Miraa is certified, accredited, or clinically validated under any particular scheme. Any such claim must come from an official Miraa source with evidence — not from these operational guides. Miraa is a clinician-support tool, and your clinic remains responsible for its own legal, privacy, and professional obligations.

The pages in this section are operational guidance to help you use Miraa safely. They are not legal advice. Your clinic is responsible for meeting its own obligations under Australian law and professional standards. When in doubt, seek qualified advice.
