Calendar

Status: Available now (OAuth). Miraa can connect to Google Calendar and Microsoft/Outlook Calendar via a secure authorisation (OAuth) flow. The exact extent of two-way sync can vary — Needs confirmation confirm the behaviour you need before relying on it.

What it’s for

Connecting a calendar lets Miraa work alongside your clinic’s scheduling — for example, aligning consultations with calendar events.

What data may be exchanged

A calendar connection involves appointment and event information (such as times and, potentially, attendee details). Be mindful that event titles and notes can contain personal information.

Setup requirements

Open Integrations

Go to your Integrations area (admin access is typically required).

Connect your calendar

Choose Google or Microsoft and complete the authorisation (OAuth) flow, granting Miraa the requested access.

Confirm the connection

Verify the calendar is connected and behaving as you expect.

🛡️

Admin only. Connecting a clinic calendar is typically an admin task.

User permissions required

  • Clinic admin access to connect the integration.
  • The authorising account needs appropriate access to the calendar being connected.

Operational cautions

  • Scope of sync. Confirm exactly what syncs (and in which direction) before you depend on it. Needs confirmation
  • Privacy in event details. Avoid putting sensitive clinical detail in calendar event titles or notes.
  • Disconnecting. You can revoke access; understand what happens to synced data when you do.

Troubleshooting

  • Calendar not syncing as expected? Reconfirm the connection, and check what the integration actually supports for your version. See Integration connection issues.
