First login
The first time you sign in, take a few minutes to set up security and get familiar with the workspace before you use Miraa in a real consultation.
Signing in
Go to your Miraa web app
Use the sign-in link your clinic gave you, and sign in with your email and password.
Complete multi-factor authentication (MFA)
If your clinic requires MFA, you’ll be prompted to enrol or enter a code from your authenticator app. Keep your recovery details somewhere safe.
Land on your workspace
After signing in you’ll see your main workspace — typically a dashboard with recent activity and quick actions.
Protect your account. Your login can reach patient information. Use a strong, unique password, keep MFA enabled, and never share your account. If you think your account is compromised, tell your admin immediately and change your password.
Get your bearings
Take a look around before your first real consultation:
- Dashboard — recent consultations and quick actions.
- Patients — search and open patient profiles.
- Consultations — start a new consultation and see past ones.
- Settings — your profile, preferences, and (for admins) clinic settings.
The safest first workflow to learn
Practise the core loop once before using Miraa with a real patient, so the steps feel natural:
Confirm the patient
Open or create a patient and make sure you have the right person.
Do a short practice capture
Start a consultation and record a brief, non-clinical test (for example, reading a paragraph aloud) so you can see how capture and transcription behave.
Review the draft
Look at the draft note Miraa produces. Notice that it is clearly a draft and that you can edit it.
Practise approval
Walk through the review and approval step so you know exactly where it is and what it asks of you. See Review & approve notes.
Use only fictional, non-identifying content for practice. Do not use a real patient’s private information for a test.
Check your audio
Ambient capture depends on your microphone. Before your first live consultation:
- Confirm your browser has microphone permission for the Miraa web app.
- Do a short test capture and check the transcript looks reasonable.
- If anything is off, see Microphone not working.
