About Miraa
What is Miraa?
An Australian clinical AI workspace that helps clinicians prepare for consultations, capture them, and produce draft clinical documentation that the clinician reviews and approves. See What is Miraa?.
Does Miraa diagnose patients or make clinical decisions?
No. Miraa supports clinicians. It does not diagnose, replace clinical judgment, or make autonomous clinical decisions. Every output is a draft for a clinician to review and approve. See Clinician approval.
Are Miraa’s notes final automatically?
No. Nothing is final until a clinician approves it. See Finalising notes.
Using Miraa
What’s the safest way to work in Miraa?
Learn the core loop: Prepare → Capture → Generate → Verify → Approve → Close the loop. See The core operating loop.
Do I have to check the AI’s work?
Yes — verification is mandatory. AI drafts can be incomplete, incorrect, or include plausible-but-wrong details. See Review & approve notes.
Can I edit a draft note?
Yes, and you should. Editing before approval is normal. See Editing notes.
What if the transcript has errors?
Transcription isn’t perfect. Use the transcript to verify, and correct the draft before approving.
Consent & privacy
Do I need patient consent to record?
Obtain consent before recording where your clinic policy or jurisdiction requires it. This is operational guidance, not legal advice. See Patient consent.
How do I explain Miraa to a patient?
Keep it simple: “Would it be okay if I use Miraa to help capture notes from our consultation? It creates a draft summary for me to review, and I remain responsible for checking and approving anything that goes into your record.”
Is patient data secure?
Miraa protects patient data with access controls, encryption, and an audit trail, and your habits matter too. See Data security.
Is Miraa certified or accredited?
These docs make no such claim. For formal compliance documentation, contact Miraa directly. See Privacy, safety & compliance overview.
Features & integrations
Which integrations are live?
It varies. Email and calendar (Google/Microsoft) connections are available now; some practice-management and secure-messaging connectors are in development or planned. Always check real status. See Integrations overview.
Can Miraa send referrals electronically?
Only where a secure-messaging integration is confirmed live for your clinic. Otherwise, use your existing process. See HealthLink.
A feature in these docs isn’t in my workspace — why?
It may be gated by your plan, role, or permissions, or it may be labelled in development. See User roles & access and Billing.
Getting help
Something’s not working — what do I do?
Work through the relevant Troubleshooting page and gather the details it lists.
How do I report an issue safely?
Describe the problem without any patient-identifying information, including what happened, when, and your browser/device. See Troubleshooting overview.
Who do I contact?
Start with your clinic administrator, then the Miraa support channel your clinic was given during onboarding.
